Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, marking and packaging of machine taps (high performance grade and general grade), hand taps and nut taps. This standard is applicable to taps used for processing common threads (GB/T l92, GB/T l93, GB/T l96, GB/T l97). High-performance machine taps are mainly suitable for CNC machine tools, machining centers or other automatic machine tools
