Scope

This standard specifies the diagnostic criteria and treatment principles for radiation-induced esophageal diseases, including radiation-induced esophagitis, radiation-induced esophageal stricture, radiation-induced esophageal fistula, and radiation-induced esophageal cancer. This standard applies to the diagnosis of persons with esophageal injury caused by accidental or medical exposure, and other exposed persons can also refer to it.
