- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of steel cable compression pipe joints (hereinafter referred to as joints) for building curtain walls. This standard is applicable to steel compression pipe joints of various types of steel strands and round strand steel wire ropes with a nominal diameter of 6mm to 36mm and a steel wire tensile strength not greater than 1700MPa. This standard does not apply to semi-sealed and sealed wire rope pressure pipe joints.
