- This standard specifies the requirements for power level, frequency band, functions, performance indicators and reliability of 2GHz cdma2000 digital cellular mobile communication network high-speed packet data (HRPD) (second stage) access terminal equipment. This standard applies to 2GHz cdma2000HRPD (second phase) access terminals that support UIM cards (machine-card separation) and those that do not support UIM cards (machine-card integration). For 2GHz cdma2000HRPD (second phase) access terminals that support UIM cards, All items of this standard are applicable: For 2GHz cdma2000HRPD (second phase) access terminals that do not support UIM cards, this standard does not apply to items involving UIM cards and UIM card interface requirements.
