- This standard mainly specifies the functional requirements, performance requirements, interface requirements, operation and maintenance requirements, mechanical and environmental requirements, power supply and grounding requirements and synchronization requirements of the third generation mobile communication WCDMA wireless network subsystem (RNS). This standard applies to the base station subsystem of the WCDMA communication network and provides technical basis for the introduction of system equipment, network planning and construction, equipment manufacturing, engineering design, network operation, management and maintenance, etc. It can be used to formulate standards and specifications for equipment certification testing, network access testing, arbitration testing and performance testing. It can also be used as a reference standard for manufacturers, operations departments and maintenance departments to conduct quality inspection and performance testing of equipment.
