Scope
This part specifies the terms and definitions, classification and nomenclature, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of micro optical cable splice boxes (hereinafter referred to as splice boxes). This section applies to optical cable connector boxes used in the installation of air-blown micro-optical cables for communications.
