Scope: This standard applies to paper cutting machines such as paper cutters, three-sided book cutters, rotary cutters, fillet cutters, and label punching machines. This standard will be used together with prEN 1010-1 to jointly identify all significant hazards when using the paper cutter under the conditions predetermined by the manufacturer (see Chapter 4). Special provisions in this standard take precedence over the corresponding provisions in prEN 1010-1. 1.2 This standard does not apply to longitudinal slitters and web-cut sheet-fed machines.
