- This standard specifies the basic principles and design requirements that should be followed in the thermal insulation and paint design of equipment, pipelines and accessories and auxiliary steel structures of thermal power plants. This standard applies to the thermal insulation and paint design of equipment, pipelines and accessories and ancillary steel structures of thermal power plants. This standard does not apply to the thermal insulation and paint design of steam turbines and boilers, nor to the thermal insulation and paint design of electrical and civil engineering majors. The design of thermal insulation paint for conventional islands and BOP parts of nuclear power plants, gas-steam combined cycle power plants and geothermal power plants can be implemented as a reference.
