This standard specifies the methods and technical requirements for rock mass observation in hydropower and water conservancy projects. This standard is applicable to the observation of rock mass displacement, deformation, strain, pressure and anchor rods in hydropower and water conservancy project foundations, surrounding rocks and slopes, as well as the observation of groundwater seepage pressure in rock masses. This standard is applicable to rock mass observation in the early stage, safety monitoring during the construction period, and long-term observation during the operation period.
