Scope

This standard is applicable to the measurement of coal seam gas content and gas composition by taking coal cores during coal seam geological exploration drilling. This standard is not applicable to the determination of coal seam gas content in serious water leakage boreholes, gas blowout boreholes, underground inclined boreholes, nor is it applicable to the determination of rock gas content.
