Scope

This guiding technical document stipulates the procedures and methods of failure mode, effects and hazard analysis (FMECA), and gives application cases. This guiding technical document is applicable to FMECA work at all stages of the product life cycle, including demonstration, planning, engineering development and finalization, production and use.
