Scope

This part of SC/T 7207 specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, operating procedures and result determination of the cytological diagnostic method for tissue prints of maltasia in oysters. This section applies to the preliminary diagnosis of Maltasia in diseased oysters and other shellfish caused by Marteilia refringens and M. sydneyi on site or in grassroots laboratories.
