This part of SC/T 7203 specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, operating procedures and result judgment of the TE staining method for diagnosing fresh tissues of shrimp hepatopancreatic parvovirus disease. This section is applicable to the rapid diagnosis of individual shrimp infected with Hepatopancreatic Parvovirus (HPV) in the field or in the laboratory. It is not suitable for diagnosis of non-infectious virus carriage and for histopathological evaluation of the host.
