Scope

This standard specifies the near-infrared reflectance spectrometry detection method for meat and bone meal in fish meal and ruminant concentrate supplements. This standard is applicable to the rapid qualitative detection of fish meal and ruminant concentrate supplements that may be adulterated with meat and bone meal. The minimum detection limit of this method is 1%.
