This Leaflet is applicable to all traction units and driving trailers that are equipped with a train bus in accordance with UIC Leaflet 556 (see Bibliography - page 37).
This Leafet can also be applied to other kinds of rolling stock, e.g. EMUs, DMUs (see List of abbreviations - page 36) and high speed trains, in order to develop the remote control application based on an existing standard and to achieve interoperability.
This Leaflet is applicable to both diesel and electric traction vehicles.
