Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements and test methods related to medical X-ray image intensifier television systems (hereinafter referred to as television systems). This standard applies to medical X-ray image intensifier television systems using medical X-ray image intensifiers. This standard does not apply to medical diagnostic X-ray machines using medical X-ray image intensifier television systems.
