Scope

This part of YY/T0606 gives the terminology and classification standards for tissue engineering products and materials that replace the structure and function of the body's skin (or the dermis and epidermal structure of the skin) in medical treatment. This section is expected to include newer and better tissue engineered skin products that may appear in the future. This section can be used as a basis for the preclinical and clinical application evaluation of skin substitutes. This section does not cover the safety of tissue engineering products. It is the responsibility of the worker using this section to establish its safety based on the actual situation. The definitions of the terms used come from medical dictionaries, national unified medical textbooks, authoritative monographs, and approved terms published by the National Committee for Approval of Scientific and Technical Terms as much as possible. This section is classified according to genotype, cell source and clinical use.
