Scope
This standard is based on GB 9706.1. In GB 9706.1 (general standard), such standards are designated as "specific standards". As stated in 1.3 of GB 9706.1-2007, the requirements of this standard take precedence over the requirements of GB 9706.1. GB 9706.1 2007 1.1 and the following provisions apply: This standard specifies the method used to determine the anesthetic vapor or anesthesia vapor in breathing gas mixtures and fresh gas mixtures. Anesthetic gas indicator requirements for anesthetic gas monitors. Regardless of the measurement technology used, this includes sidestream and mainstream anesthetic gas monitors, as well as non-auto-identifying and auto-identifying gas monitors. Applications include monitoring of patient breathing mixtures, monitoring of anesthesia workstation outputs, monitoring of vaporizer outputs, and monitoring of anesthesia ventilators and respiratory systems.
