Scope

This standard specifies the radiation health protection requirements for the use of sealed radioactive sources (hereinafter referred to as sealed sources) and sealed gamma radioactive source containers. This standard applies to 3.7×10⁴Bq～3.7×10¹⁶Bq (1μCi～1MCi) sealed sources. This standard does not apply to instrument calibration sources and sealed sources packaged in glass containers; this standard also does not apply to neutron sealed sources.
