Scope

This specification applies to most general puropse illuminants (e.g. tungsten filament lamps, tubular and compact fluorescent lamps, and all other kinds of gaseous discharge electrical lamps except sources of predominantly monochromatic radiation such as low pressure sodium). This method may also be applied to modified daylight.
