Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of transparent quartz glass tubes for electric light sources (hereinafter referred to as quartz glass tubes). This standard applies to transparent quartz glass tubes for electric light sources. Quartz glass tubes for electric vacuum instruments and other industrial uses can also refer to this standard.
