Scope
A new edition is being proposed that includes the following revisions: (a) national differences have been added to exclude the EMC requirements for general-use water valve applications in Clauses 23, 26 and Annex H, (b) a national difference has been added to define the term safety valve, (c) a blocked output test (temperature) and a dry condition test have been added to the IEC text, and (d) editorial changes were made to the text including renumbering of clauses and national differences.
