Scope
This part of EN 13566,read in conjunction with EN 13566-1,specifies requirements and test methods for pipes that are formed on site bu spirally winding and jointing a pre-manufactured profoled plastics strip using a dedicated winding machine in front of the open end of an existing pipeline(e.g.in a manhole).The pipes thus formed are simultaneously insered into the existing pipeline by the winding forces. lt covers spirally-wound pipes of a fixed diameter made of profilek plastics strips of unplasticized poly(vinylchloride)(PVE-U) with an integral locking mechanism .These spirally-wound pipes are used ofr renovatingnon-pressure drainage and sewerage networks and are fixed in place by grouting the annular space. NOTE The grouting procedure is outside the scope of this standard.
