Scope

This part specifies the principle, sampling, analysis steps and precision of the determination of chloride ion content in diesel locomotive coolant. This section is applicable to the measurement of water and coolant with a chloride ion content of 5 mg/L to 150 mg/L (tested samples below this range can be quantitatively added with chloride ions before measurement).
