Scope

This standard specifies the classification principles, series division principles, basic requirements and test methods for performance of metal corrugated pipes (hereinafter referred to as corrugated pipes). This standard applies to bellows used in instruments and sensors (referred to as sensitive bellows); it also applies to bellows, sealing isolation devices, elastic support devices, shock absorbers and flexible connections used in various compensators. Corrugated tubes used in devices (referred to as bellows-like tubes).
