Scope

This standard specifies the performance test method for natural convection/radiant radiators for space heating (hereinafter referred to as radiators). The temperature and pressure limits of hot water or steam supplied to the radiator during performance testing shall be below the values (maximum operating temperature and maximum operating pressure) specified by the manufacturer for each radiator. Note that all steam referred to in this standard refers to saturated steam, and all pressures are gauge pressures.
