Scope

This standard specifies the classification, code, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of seamless stainless steel tubes for boilers and heat exchangers. This standard applies to austenitic and ferritic stainless steel seamless tubes for boilers and heat exchangers.
