Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of external brake clearance automatic adjustment arms for city buses (hereinafter referred to as automatic adjustment arms). This standard applies to automatic adjusting arms for all types of city buses. Automatic adjusting arms for other vehicles can be implemented as a reference.
