Scope: This standard specifies the terminology, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging and storage of primers for interior and exterior walls of buildings. This standard applies to various types of primers for building interior and exterior walls made of synthetic resin emulsion, solvent-based resin or other materials as the main binder, supplemented with additives, pigments and fillers.
