- This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of expanded perlite (hereinafter referred to as "expanded perlite") for thermal insulation of low-temperature devices. This standard applies to expanded perlite used for thermal insulation of air separation equipment cold boxes, cryogenic liquid containers and other cryogenic devices. Its operating temperature range is 77K-normal temperature (-196℃-normal temperature).
