- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural classification and model, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of radiator thermostatic control valves (hereinafter referred to as thermostatic valves). This standard applies to thermostatic valves in civil building heating systems that control the flow of hot water (below 120°C) flowing through heating radiators through self-operated actions, excluding electric and other forms of temperature control valves.
