Scope

This section specifies the interface functions between SDH transport network EMS-NMS. This section is applicable to standardize, design and implement the interface between SDH Network Element Management System (EMS) and SDH Network Management System (NMS). This section does not apply to the management of WDM optical networks and PDH systems.
