- This specification is applicable to the assessment and evaluation of the seismic performance of major telecommunications equipment entering areas with a seismic fortification intensity of 7 to 9 degrees. Under normal circumstances, the seismic fortification intensity can be based on the basic earthquake intensity of China's earthquake parameter zoning map. For cities that have compiled seismic fortification zoning, seismic testing can be carried out according to the approved seismic fortification intensity or design earthquake parameters.
