- This standard specifies the classification and nomenclature, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of chemical chlorine dioxide disinfectant generators. This standard applies to chemical chlorine dioxide disinfectant generators (hereinafter referred to as generators) that produce chlorine dioxide or chlorine dioxide and chlorine gas through chemical reactions and are used for drinking water disinfection, wastewater treatment, health and epidemic prevention, and industrial production.
