1.1 This standard specifies methods for photographing 16 mm and 35 mm silver gelatin microfilm (hereinafter referred to as film) used for the purpose of distributing, exchanging and archiving materials. 1.2 This standard specifies basic requirements such as the placement and retrieval coding of microimages during imaging, the use of markers for identification, partial cheeks, testing, etc., and image quality. Note () Material is used as a general term for documents, drawings, etc. (see JIS Z 6000, 01.04).
