Scope

This standard specifies the basic provisions, inspection procedures and acceptance rules for crack inspection of rolling bearings used in railway locomotives and passenger and freight vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "railway bearings"). This standard applies to crack inspection of railway bearing parts.
