Scope

This standard stipulates the working procedures, methods and results requirements of marine functional zoning, establishes the principles of marine functional zoning, the classification system of marine functional zones, type classification indicators and requirements for marine environmental protection. This standard is applicable to the preparation and revision of marine functional zoning in the whole country and coastal provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities), cities, and counties (cities, districts).
