Scope

This part of GB/T 10944 specifies the shank dimensions of tools No. 40, No. 45 and No. 50 used on machine tools to transfer tools from the tool magazine to the spindle, or vice versa from the spindle to the tool magazine, using automatic clamping. These tools are designed for spindle ends conforming to GB/T 3837 and have two keys specified in this Part, one of which shall have a dimension of t₁.
