- Scope
- This standard specifies mating dimensions of sockets for use on containers (casks and kegs) for beer and non-alcoholic beverages, and of connectors to be screwed into these sockets. The mating dimensions specified in this standard permit sockets to be used with all commercially available containers as specified in DIN 6647-1 and DIN 6647-2, and permit the fitting of the associated connectors to be screwed into these sockets with commercial valve systems.
