Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, transportation and quality assurance period of commutators for small power motors. This standard applies to commutators for small power motors used under general environmental conditions, including high-speed, low-speed and rolled plate commutators (hereinafter referred to as commutators unless otherwise noted). This standard does not apply to plane commutators and disc commutators.
