Scope

This standard covers steel materials and processed steel products (hereinafter collectively referred to as materials). ] Specifies the effective aspects of hot-dip galvanizing for the purpose of corrosion protection. However, hot-dip galvanized steel sheets, galvanized iron wires, and galvanized steel wires that are continuously hot-dip galvanized are excluded.
