- This standard specifies the relevant definitions and general requirements for impregnated fabrics for electrical applications. This standard applies to impregnated fabrics based on fabrics of cotton, natural silk or synthetic fibers (including glass fibres) supplied in full rolls, sheets or cut into strips of various widths.
