Scope

This standard specifies the basic control strategy, minimum functional requirements, basic man-machine interface, minimum requirements for fault diagnosis and handling, and performance testing procedures of the adaptive cruise control system (hereinafter referred to as ACC). This standard applies to the performance testing of the ACC system.
