Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for functions, operation and maintenance, billing, interfaces, software and hardware of the multimedia message service center, which is the main body in the implementation process of multimedia messaging services in digital cellular mobile communication networks. This standard applies to multimedia message service center (MMSC) equipment of digital cellular mobile communication networks.
