Scope: This standard specifies the relationship between broadband customer networks based on public telecommunications networks (unless otherwise specified, the broadband customer networks appearing in this standard all refer to broadband customer networks based on public telecommunications networks; all telecommunications networks refer to public telecommunications networks) and public telecommunications networks. Connection, telecommunication services supported by broadband customer network, reference model of broadband customer network, functional requirements of broadband customer network, media format of broadband customer network, number and address of broadband customer network, performance of broadband customer network, EMC of broadband customer network equipment requirements, environmental protection requirements for broadband customer network equipment, etc. This standard is applicable to the situation where the services and applications provided by the telecommunications network are implemented within the public telecommunications network through the gateway. This standard does not apply to the situation where information flows only between devices within the public telecommunications network.
