This British Standard specifies requirements for fluorosilicone rubber
material possessing excellent ozone resistance properties intended for
the production of items such as sheet, mouldings and certain extrusions
for use in sealing applications in contact with petroleum based fuels,
hydraulic fluids and lubricants and with silicone and certain ester based
fluids over the temperature range –60 °C to 150 °C1).
For applications in air the material is suitable over the temperature
range –60 °C to 180 °C.
This material standard is to be used in conjunction with BS EN 3207.
