This Standard specifies the preformed cellular plastics thermal insulation mate-
rials in the form of board (hereafter referred to as "thermal insulation boards"), in
the form of tube (hereafter referred to as "pipe insulation") and in the form of piping
joint cover (hereafter referred to as "joint covers") used for thermal insulator.
The term "preformed cellular plastics thermal insulation materials" is a generic
term including beads method polystyrene foam thermal insulation materials, extru-
sion method polystyrene foam thermal insulation materials, rigid urethane foam thermal
insulation materials, polyethylene foam thermal insulation materials and phenol foam
thermal insulation materials.
