Scope

This standard specifies the following types of hand-held and hand-operated probe assemblies and associated accessories for professional, industrial process and educational use: These probe assemblies shall be used to interface electrical phenomena with test or measurement equipment. These may be fixed to the equipment or may be removable attachments to the equipment.
