Scope

This standard specifies general rules for determining the ash content of plastics (resins and compounds) under appropriate conditions. Special test conditions applicable to plastics containing glass fiber reinforcement, fillers and/or certain additives are specified elsewhere in ISO 7250 for individual resins (see Preface).
