Scope: This standard specifies the unified procedures for testing the thermal performance, noise and droplet loss of industrial circulating water wet cooling towers, as well as the measurement methods of various parameters, the processing methods of test data and the evaluation methods of test results. This standard is applicable to the acceptance testing of newly built or renovated wet mechanical ventilation and natural ventilation industrial circulating water cooling towers. Non-acceptance cooling tower testing may refer to this standard. This standard does not apply to the acceptance testing of various types of air cooling towers and smoke exhaust cooling towers built together with chimneys and cooling towers.
